With encouragement from an extremely supportive husband and some wonderful friends, it was time to make my dream a reality. In the fall of 2005, Dreamstitching was born!
Each quilt top I receive is unique ... a work of art ... the heart and soul of a fellow lover of fabric, color, texture and design. My part is to enhance, or accent, your work ... to reveal the feeling and nature of each of your creations.
There are times when, at the moment I first see the quilt top, I know exactly the pattern to use. More often, however, the project must first be studied ... its pattern, its colors, its fabrics ... before I hear its voice and am inspired.
Investing in the Statler Stitcher with my Gammill Optimum long arm quilting machine allows me the choice of over 500 patterns with access to innumberable others. Whether our project requires simple lines or calls for a more intricate design to bring it to life, "Lenny" and I will meet the challenge. If you have a specific design that you wish to use; if you have simply an "idea" to toss my way; or if you opt to allow my creativity to take over, I look forward to working with you to achieve a "work of heart."
